Stinging eyes / Monday, 22 December 2008

I'm having sore eyes. All the more, I want to sit at home. True to the thesis, whenever my birthday is drawing near, misfortunes would come and haunt me down. What luck.

The trip to KL the other day was the worst trip I've had in 2008. The hotel stay, the activities and the company sucks. As predicted, I bought nothing home from that trip. :(

Hotel stay; we stayed in this super budget hotel in ChowKit road. The hotel is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. They've got anak lipas (eeeew!), dirty toilet, bad tv antenna and even our bed was broken! Our room was the only isolated one on the level. It's behind the emergency exit door and right infrnt of our room, is the stairway. I tell you, it was damn scary. There was not even a view when looked outside the hotel window. Ok no. There was.

Activities; the main purpose that we're going on this trip is to go to Tambun's water theme park. The scenery is nice. I mean really nice. BUT other than that, it was somewhat the same as Wildwild wet. Nothing interesting. If we had known that the place is boring, we would not have wasted the 4hours to Ipoh from KL and would have just gone to Sunway Lagoon instead. But what made me smile there is the wave pool. The 6 of us (bro&wife, sis&bf and me&cousin) went to their wave pool after realising that the queue for renting of floats were so long. Except for me, everyone of them knows how to swim. heh. We went into the 1.5m deep water and I was trying so hard to avoid the water from getting into my mouth and ears. The exact occurrence which happened during sec1 at wildwildwet flashed in my blardy head. It was without doubt damn funny. Maybe I should just avoid going in so deep huh.

On our second night, I, my sister&bf, his sister&fiancé who lives in KL, went to Petaling St. But unfortunately for us, by the time we reached there, most of the shops were already packing. Hahah. We then went to have supper and off to our haunted hotel. Why did I say its haunted is because sister’s bf who have a sixth sense said that there is a big black figure at our toilet. And on our last night there, I couldn’t sleep at all because I kept thinking of the figure. Scary shit. We received a text message from our uncle in Singapore informing the death of our aunt. We then packed our stuffs, and rushed back that very moment which is at 3 in the morning and zooooom back to Singapore. I was thankful enough that they decided to go back early in the morning because I wouldn’t want to sleep in that hotel. I’d rather sleep in the car, in between my parents. Heh.

When we reached Singapore, we went straight to my uncle’s place with our super muka busuk. I pitied my cousin. It must’ve been difficult for them to know that their mother are gone forever now. We followed them till the cemetery and after so long, I went to pay a visit to my grandmother’s grave. It was my first ever visit ever since her death. And it was not as scary I was thought it would be after all. heh.

And my eyes are at it's worst state now. I seriously have to go to the polyclinic asap and I seriously hate my birthday. I want to ccryyyyyyy ! :(
