Say hello to 2009! / Wednesday, 31 December 2008

We’re left with only a few hours till we usher in the New Year. How’s my 2008? S-U-C-K-Y spells SUCKY. Yes eventhough to me this year past like a bullet train, 2008 have been a sucky one for me. Okay of course with the exception of boyfriend, my laptop and my DSLR that is. Other than that, don’t ask me why it’s sucky.

Being admitted to RP aka Woodlands ITE (okay, I actually hate it when people said that. We’ll be graduating with a diploma cert at the end of the day, hello), make no new close friends, having to let go of my dearly late grandmother, looking very fat with all the protruding love handles and tummy, having a very bad sore eyes on my birthday, being paitao-ed one too many times, lips torn early this year, drifted away from the close friends, receiving surprising news regarding my family, seeing ex-classmate still laying motionlessly and with me still not getting my hands on my first ever job, so you tell me, how can 2008 be good?

Kick the long list of resolution aside. As cliché as it may sound, live life to the fullest, be in the best of health, be happy and make more money. I may sound desperate but I need new friends! I would also like to go through 2009 with boyfriend, Insyaallah. Ok, how about to Singfest 2009? hehehe. And lastly, master the arts of letting go yo! :D

Similar to last year, this year I'm spending my eve of new year on my bed together with my teddy, bantal busuk(s), puppet cow, airconditioned room and junks. I lost my specs and I can't see a thing on the tv :(

Firstly, the artists who performed during the countdown totally suck. Like totally!!!!!!! Their lip-synching was atrocious. Look at Fiona Xie (!!), eeeew. I don't know how and why boyfriend is so hooked to her! And TayPingHui singing I'm Yours is making me start to hate that song. Tsktsk. But ! The fireworks are awesome laaaaaa! I'm still so sad that I couldn't be able to catch it. FUCK CURFEW FUCK FUCK FUCK!!! Still, a Happy 2009 ahead people!
